17goals-blue2Today is a big day … but tomorrow is bigger.

What’s big about today: we are launching this website about our new, global initiative, 17Goals.

What’s even bigger about tomorrow: the adoption of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals at the United Nations summit in New York.

You are probably already well aware of this summit, thanks to the efforts of the Project Everyone campaign. Their message is simple, but clear: Tell Everyone about the SDGs.

Our goal: To help everyone … who is truly interested to go more in depth. Who wants to understand what these new SDGs mean. Who wants to learn more about them, and to share what they learn with others. And most importantly, to take action.

In the coming months, we will be offering a steady stream of tools, resources, stories, activities, and sources of inspiration. If you are a teacher, trainer, professor, professional sustainability or CSR person … or just passionate about sustainability … then 17Goals is especially meant for you.

Be sure to check out our initial collection of tools and resources. This is going to keep growing, and we will be organizing it in a way that makes it easy for you to find what you need.

17Goals is supported by a growing partnership of over 20 organizations from around the world. Our website https://handsfreehealth.com/hfhealth/buy-levitra-online/ goes live today, but our initiative formally launches on October 6, at a conference event in Denmark called Accelerating Change. Over 500 students, as well as a lot of adults, will celebrate the launch with a full day of workshop activities.

And you can also participate. Create a workshop, using some of the tools we are making available. Throw a party! At the 17Goals website, and you’ll find links tools you can use to start getting involved in making the SDGs a reality. (Scroll to the end of our Tools & Resources page.)

But you don’t have to wait. Start now: Follow us on Twitter and Instagram (and spread the word with retweets etc.). Mention us in your blogs and emails. “Like” us on Facebook. Help us come to the attention of more and more people … who will want to do something with their new knowledge about the SDGs. With their classes, their colleagues, their companies and communities.

We’re going to do our best to be a source for great tools and inspiration, and to spread the word … and we would greatly appreciate your help in spreading it further.

We hope you’ll be part of 17Goals!

With my best regards,

Alan AtKisson, Co-founder
